For a museum, I think the strips are fine, but for a driver, not so much.
I remember seeing one up close in the early 80's at a high end shop in Houston. They're great looking in person and I remember the incredible performance considering they have the same size tires as a stock 911SC of the same same period. They also look pretty easy to work on with the straight six engine.
