I have a 1982 BMW R65LS bike that I bought new and am restoring. Everything is more or less done (still need new tires), but I'm stuck finding the three "R65LS" transfers that go on the tail and each side of the fairing. They came in two colors - blue and white. The blue ones are available and went with the silver bikes. The white ones are NLA and went with the red bikes.
I know there are people making copies of various 911 stickers (gold engine labels, Marken Weltmeister circular transfers, etc.). A Google search turns up several companies that say they can do this, and I have sent a few emails. Does anyone have experience to share?
