What do I do?
Profession: Light Infantry Fire Team Leader (Army)
The cool part: I get to blow ***** up, shoot machine guns, kick down doors, run around breaking things, yell at people, practice ju-jitsu on work hours, and risk my life to save freedom (and remind my wife of that fact when I need leverage).
The uncool part: I get to babysit 18 year olds, work with more than my fair share of morons, the hours absolutely suck, and it's terrible on the body.
All in all, I think everyone should do it for four years, I'm proud as hell, but it drives me up a wall and I think I'll be going crazy any time now. I recommend it.
