Gino,
I trust the guys on Speed as long as I also see the race that they are commenting about on the tube or Tivo.
To read something in a newspaper or internet website then just run with it, no I would almost never do that unless it was confirmed by several different accounts.
The FIA has not treated McLaren fairly for a long time, while "looking the other way" with several other teams (Ferarri and Renault) who at times do much the same thing while still sharing the same track. This is well documented and well known. Hopefully someday this will stop and everyone will be treated fairly.
I am a fan of several teams and while I might be said to lean in McLaren's direction am not a big fan of Ron Dennis. That said, I feel that his treatment by the FIA (Max Mosely) is way over-board and hope that Ron takes Max to court someday and wins. I tend to support the various drivers more than one team or another to tell the truth.
Right now I tend to support Hamilton as he is simply one of the best and most talented drivers we have seen in many years. He could end up being "a new Jensen Button" and falling on his face shortly or keep forging ahead, only time will tell. Compare that with Alonzo last year and the way he tried to blackmail McLaren to get ahead and I cannot see why anyone would support him at this time.
