I pulled the trigger on a fullerton, made in Japan by Aria. Reviews say they play better than squires. Looks pretty much like this (but left-handed):

I've never been much of an equipment snob even though I've owned some nice stuff over the years. I figure I can play as bad on this guitar as i can on any of the higher priced stuff.
A little fiddling, maybe an HB bridge pup and I'll be all set. Now all I have to do to is learn how to play again. Oh wait, I may need an amp.
The wife is going to check on a price for a Roland micro-cube (prolly get one fer cost plus 5), that should do for a while. Anyone ever played through an MC? Heard good things about em.
