Surveys and Polls?

You cannot turn on any newscast without hearing about some 'latest Poll
taken on ______________(insert whatever subject you choose) and the 'Talking Heads' dissecting the results.

Are we to now assume that ALL the U.S. Government's actions/decisions should be driven by polls? That's certainly how they oft times frame the situation. ("Well, the Poll's say (thus) so therefore.....")

I think that ANY politician that bases his/her decision on Poll's is not worthy of the office.

As the old saying goes; Figures lie and liars figure. The results can be skewed in many ways; who was interviewed, how were the questions posed/worded, etc....
