For a small infestation like that, a can or two from Home Depot will take care of it.
If it is clean and dry under the sink, they will not be attracted to that area. The tiny ants are moisture ants. They love dampness (leaky plumbing?) and food (anything miss the garbage can?).
A thorough cleaning and making sure there is no source for water may take care of the problem without chemicals.
