Thumbs down New Style Mustard Squirters

Perhaps this is due to user error but...

Personally, I think the new style plastic X diaphragm squirting devices are a lot worse than the old screw-open, screw-shut action.

I don't use the 'sturd everyday, but it seems like when I do go to use it, I inevitable have to take the darn squirter thing off and clean it just so I can get a controlled, uniform bead of mustard without any dried crapola or mustard-explosions.

It does seem to limit the initial watery stuff somewhat, but if you just shook up the old ones that wasn't a problem to begin with!

Maybe I am missing something, enlighten me.

edit: picture added for clarification, new style squirter (nozzle) on left, old on right
