I've had nothing but good luck w/ Mintex in the normal street compound. Had them in my SC, my 996, and a BMW or two. No noise or excessive dust issues, they don't eat rotors and stopping performance is at least equal to OEM pads, if not better.

My SC w/ street Mintex, slotted ATE front rotors, stainless steel lines and ATE Super Blue fluid got nothing but compliments from instructors who were serious racers when they drove it at DE events.

The Bilstein sport shocks and corner balance + 7/8s helped as well, but I got some real raised eyebrows when they hit the brakes. I'm a huge Mintex fan for street cars. BTW, you don't want pads that make no dust at all. They have to sacrifice themselves in the course of their duty to stop the car.
