Sorry guys, but I'm not about to get pinched between the parked cars and some jackass in his SUV on the phone who's not paying attention. At least if you're pissed off at me, you're aware I'm there. Nothin' personal.

I had a road bike for year, to commute to work in Toronto, even with bike lanes I hated it. I have never had a car honk at me when Im mountain biking throught the woods though. Unfortunatly North American drviers arent accustomed to encountering cyclists and dont know how to behave around them. The roads are for cars and you are taking up a few valuable feet of thier precious road with your bicycle. I have been hit by a car, I dont recommend it.
