They are not "unreliable" considering what they are (race bikes), they are high strung and require much more P/M than a normal road bike. For instance their sumps are tiny so the oil needs more frequent changes etc.... Treat it like you did your MX bikes and you'll get the same results.

Agreed. But it is still not really a street legal bike. I looked at buying this bike last summer and the dealer told me I should wait until Aprilla ironed out some reliability issues. I appreciated that especially since they had a couple of them sitting on the floor for sale. Also, out here in california where we can ride twelve months a year, It would become a real hassle to own that bike for me. I don't want to work on it, I wanna ride it.
