1989 911 Cab -- what do I do?

Hi:
I have a 1989 911 Cab, black on linen, 125k miles, Fuchs 7s and 8s, 3rd owner, that I'm about to start driving again. I bought it in 1992 and have put on 60k miles on it in the last 16 years. It's been sitting for about 6 months. I'm very hesitant to throw lots of money at it and if I could sell it for $18k or better, I would do it in a heartbeat. Here are the things that need to be done in no particular order:

1. 30k mile service
2. A/C recharge
3. Upgrade stereo head unit -- has a Nakamichi 6 disk CD changer/head unit but the CD unit is jammed. Head units are so cheap, why not. Plus, I'm addicted to listening to my Ipod and the Nak has no Ipod access.

4. Replace window or top. Window is very yellow. Top has one small tear and leaks a bit. The leaking is partly due to the seals.

5. Rechrome rear wheels. Rear wheels are pitting and flaking chrome.

If I'm going to drive it, the 30k mile service just has to be done. No way around it unless I'm going to put it up for sale immediately. Same thing with A/C recharge.

Stereo -- could wait but it's only going to set me back $300 including labor to install the head unit.

Top -- Here's the problem. I've checked around and found some tops on ebay for $335 to $400, with supposedly, original German canvas and green tint window. Installation is another $500 to $750 for a total of about $1k to $1.2k. Just replacing the window is about $400. Seems like replacing the canvas is the way to go. Any opinions on this?

Rechroming the wheels is a whole different topic with many many posts on it. Just need to figure out whether I want to deal with it.

Thank you in advance.
