Sure enough- Four guys come running out of the men's room towards the entry, right into the cop, who had all four down on their faces within a second or two. Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't watch it myself. One guy nailed all four at once.
Moral of the story- Don't commit a crime when there is a cop right beside you.

The only time I've dined and dashed was at the Denny's in north Belleingham, back when I was a drunk (OK, that still applies) and impressionalbe youth.
