Well, it's crazy, but, I think the mall is allowed to ask you to do something or ask you to leave. He didn't comply, so they got the cops to ask. If you come to my house, and I ask you to leave, you should leave.
I don't think the mall is a public place or someplace that you have a right to be according to the constitution.
This is silly, but the old guy was in the wrong.
