The rescue organization that we got Lola from has an annual party with contests and whatnot. Lola was entered into both the costume contest and the fastest dog contest.
The Costume:
As you can see, she looks right at home dressed as a prisoner. Unfortunately, they don't take kindly to prisoners at the dog park and she was sent back to jail prizeless.
Onto the fastest dog competition:
Lola got 3rd prize! I was suprised, because I have seen her run MUCH faster, but with all of the commotion around she didn't give it her all. She was clocked at 31mph with a radar.
For a prize, I bid on an authentic racing jacket for her at their silent auction and won it. She likes it:
Finally back home, where she does what she truly excels at: stealing my seat on the couch, and getting into bed with me and pushing me out.
