I like a Euro-type strong coffee.
My Formula: I use a 4 cup Melitta cone filter maker. If your coffee maker isn't a cone filter, throw it out. Starbuck's French Roast. #3 Grind (they'll fight you on it but demand #3). I am far too lazy to grind at home anymore. 3 level scoops for 2-3 mugs final product. Beware, it's strong.
I should just buy a fancy expresso machine & be done with it but then I would just drink too much.
