Absolute scam. Try Google. Ask a few general contractors if they would use DB.
If anyone tells you that their offer must be accepted immediately or it will never be offered again, it's a sure sign of a scam. There is a business consulting outfit that operates in the same way. High pressure in person sales tactics. That's a pretty big red flag for me.
You will find satisfied customers of Direct Buy. People hate admitting they were taken. I have a friend that fits that profile. But try to get hard numbers out of them and you can't. They don't even know what they've spent or they've gotten themselves so confused on the issue just to convince themselves they got a deal. Bottom line, they didn't. They got taken for $5K plus.
