There is Special Education and then there is 'Special Education' - we ain't talking your typical retarded child here - from my experience retarded children don't plot this sort of thing out and only in extreme cases are they violent. Mostly they are very loving and compassionate. I have a feeling that these kids fit into the category have ADD, Hyper et al. remember those kids when we were young? Yep, chances are one or two of the posters here was one. They ain't 'special' heck they just get a bit wacky but if you put a room full of them together it is nothing short of a circus.

I bet this sort of thing happens more than reported but it is fodder for the media who just loves to report the obscure and macabre.
