Okay, Here is the instructions for the 914ap carpet kit, it should be similar to pelicans kit since this one is also fitted like a factory kit.

There should be two long pieces, they go between the seats from speaker to firewall. Test fit then to find out which one goes on what side (the one with the larger cutout goes on the drivers side). There is a piece with a hole in the middle, that goes over the shifter and heater lever in the center tunnel area. There is a small triangular piece that goes to the left of the pedal board, There is a small rectangular piece that fits above the pedal board. There is two mushroom shaped pieces, one has a zigzag edge and that one fits behind the drivers seat, the other goes behind the passenger seat. There is another piece with a small hole or loop at one end and that fits in the passenger kickpanel area and the hole or loop goes around the steering shaft.
