let's see if I can bail myself out of this.....
Regarding people that don't track old or new Porsches because they want to reduce maintenance cost exposure, that is perfectly fine by me. I like to feel smug that I can DIY and run a bit on the track. I guess, it makes up in a small way for the jealousy of not feeling like I can afford a newer 911. I don't feel like I'm an air cooled snob...
