Next time, just say "thank you". These are the people taking the HUGE depreciation hit, so that ten years later, normal enthusiasts can enjoy the cars. The original buyer of a 996 easily saved the next enthusiast buyer $50k.
It's funny, because I saw it in the BMW world as well. The buyers of the new cars tended to be more concerned about brand of wax and expensive wheels. The owners of the older models were far more prone to modify, repair, and track their cars.
