I understand the tax break scenario. But keeping the x% sales tax? That smells fishy. If it were true, it would be fraud/false advertising/bait-n-switch on an epic scale--the sort no lawyer with half a brain wouldn't go after with a class-action that would dwarf the tobacco debacle.
