Frt Wheel Bearings NOT - Please Help!
87 924S. Grabbed the passenger front tire, top and bottom and got a definite clunk and some movement. Wheel Bearings!
Replaced them today (thanks, Pelican), got eveything back together, grabbed the top and bottom of the tire, and CLUNK!. I watched as I rocked the tire, and I can see the strut dust boot move as I clunk back and forth. I took the whel back off, grabbed the spring seat base and there is a small movement (CLUNK!) when I rock it back and forth. Nothing is loose, but there is definitely movement. The movement is not visible at the top or bottom, only the middle. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I'm at a loss.
