Spring could move cause there isn't enough pressure keeping it against the top & bottom perches. This is possible, depending on which springs/setup you have. Setup's like the Koni conversion from Paragon with adjustable ride height do this if you dont have lowering springs.

If it's all stock then I bet the top strut bolt isn't tightened down enough, or your struts are shot.
