I agree with hpservertech. When I "attempted" to replace my springs with 200lb lowering springs, I thought something was wrong because the spring was not tight and clunked around (before dropping the car back to the ground). As a result, I put the whole strut assembly back together with the stock springs as I was convinced that the springs were not the correct for my car. I have since found out that this is how it's supposed to be.
