In Australia tomorrow we honour ex servicement and remember the fallen - the day is called ANZAC day. I think in USA you have memorial day for much the same reason. In Sydney, after the dawn service there is a parade of all the ex-servicemen accompanied by bands from all over the state. At the end of the parade all the Pipes and Drums from the bands in the parade gather and march as a single massed band back down the parade route, through the main streets of Sydney. This photo is from a few years ago - but last year there were in excess of 250 pipers in the band.
As you can imagine, the noise is immense!!! A stiring sight. I'm in there somewhere.
