The Real Estate agent was very well aware that the Does went to my house and met me.

He was VERY misleading telling me they were up looking around the outside of my house and wanted to see the inside. The truth was they had already been inside my house and hung around for about 30 minutes chatting with my wife and I. Mr Doe is a cop and we were discussing his Charger Police car, me being a motorhead and all.

Jim727 - I am not entirely sure this is not the same situation, this town is a VERY small town and everyone knows each other, I might be the outsider being taken for a ride.

It seems we may have reached an agreement, they accepted my counter but want the living room set which I was dreading having to move so this works out better for me.

There was no mention about the commission in the second offer.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with realtors these last few years and to call them professional is just not true. They are not.
