In Luke 16 is the story of Lazarus who was in heaven and the rich man who was in Hades and "lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried out and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus s that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame."

Also Revelation 20 has this account, which was a vision given to John by God, "And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne". This to me would indicate that we have bodies.

Same chapter v. 13, "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds...........And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire"

Furthermore, Jesus talks of a great banquet or feast that He will throw for all believers. This indicates eating and drinking, hence, physical bodies. Therefore most likely, those in hell will also have physical bodies.

Or- we could regard this as superstitious bronze age nonsense, the belief of which suggests mental incompentence at such a level as to make one wonder how such a person might be able to put there own trousers on each morning.
