My black '73 has one. I like the way it looks, but I can understand other folks objections based on the "original equipment" premise. Now, my '75 has no hood crest, and most probably due to the car's color (Zambesi Green) I have been asked countless times if that car is a Fiat. Maybe another crest would clue them in, and keep my blood pressure down.
