I like the look of a hood crest, maybe when I can afford to get my car painted I'll seriously think about it. You don't need to drill the holes, I never would, I'd just use some 2-sided tape...like most modern emblems use. I have a small crest on the driver-side back, opposite the 914...looks really nice. To each his own though...although, if it's good enough for the 914-8 it's good enough for me
