When I tore my ACL and fractured my tibia, one of my teammates in the city league was a black guy (a very good friend from work, he drove me home). He could easily touch the top of the square, but his overall "game" was on par with mine. I used to kid him about having "no skills", and he'd proceed to ascend to "no white man's land" (at least for this 5'11" white boy), while I remained "earthbound"...I miss those days!
