Well put. To my tastes, I find this grouping pretty uninspiring, other than as a display of cubic dollars. Its good to know that
someone was buying those goofy retro bodied C5's, though...
Ralph Lauren's collection has Vision, both to the signifcance of almost all of the cars individually ( 8C Alfa, 250 GTO, RSK, Count Trossi SSK, Bug Atlantique, et al) and as a group. Cars of provenance and signifcance, and most that you couldn't buy tomorrow if you wanted to, unlike like a warehouse full of 612 Scags and Gallardos.
