I never really understood why everyone gets wigged out about others knowing your car is a Porsche. As for the 914, it should stand on its own without banners proclaiming its' heritage. For its' time, it was a very unique car with unique characteristics (and still is to a great degree). Those who don't know what it is wouldn't care if you plastered badges all over the body ~ they would still call it a FIAT.
I don't like drilling holes in the body - ANYWHERE (unless it is tied into a SIGNIFICANT power increase).
As far as sticking the badge on with double stick, you're going to have to clip the mounting pins on the badge. My God, you have desecrated a Porsche part (the Porsche police will be on your door step any moment now). BUT, the wife police

can be far more trouble, so I would take the chances with the Porsche Police.
Rear reflectors - 6 holes and screws up the ability to open the rear trunk. I'll keep the button.
Current project - '70 ~ no badge, no reflector ~ one badge on the rear that says "914". It will have an SC front, 2.5 L stroker and a drivers seat with my butt imprint ~ you can call it anything you want ~ I KNOW what it is .\
Mike Z is correct, it all belongs in the trash.
Yeh! Saturday night was a b___h. Time for an "attitude adjustment".
