This means that if you are 30 now, and after the surgery you have 20/20 or 15/15, enjoy it for the next 10 years; save some $$ as you will need it again once more time.
BTW, the latest things are the implants. Some of the blinds are now able to see.

I'm now 48 and the only thing I spend my money on is 100+ reading glasses at Rite Aid. My eyesight is still 15/15 last time I went to the Doc.
The only thing I have heard is not to have it before 25-27 y.o., after that your eyes are where they'll be for a l-o-n-g time. And i don't think you can go from nearsighted correction to farsighted correction.
