Buddy of mine has had it for 20+ years. He's very active 45 y.o. Doesn't slow him down as far as I can see. If I'm not mistaken, he is on some new/experimental regimen/drugs and it is remarkable. As far as I know they've been able to avoid surgery. I'll ask him for the details.
