Not that I fundamentally disagree, but you're just taking up the @#$ either way.
I just priced a trunk lid for my 73 2002: $850
A set of used door panels: $400 ! Hell, appbiz can sell me 4 RS door panels for that price !
BMW may sell old parts but sometimes I wish they wouldn't bother and aftermarket would take over instead, it'd be cheaper ! Mine:



And with the new wheels, from the good side (where no rust is visible ;-)
