Probably the biggest bang for the buck is a good complete tune up. Plugs, wires, cap rotor, Points, oil, air filter, valve adjust. check set timing, change fuel filter.
Change brake fluid, trans oil, check air in tires.
You would be amazed at what people don't do to thier cars. Not saying anyone here is negligent.
