Back to the subject:
Take a driving class. It will add more Hp and torque than you could ever imagine.
Our 4cyl 914's are perfect learning tools. Much like underpowered go karts where you HAVE to learn about momentum.
It's no secret why some of the best drivers started out in karts. It's easy to add power once you learn to drive.
