"BOXSTER" is a car model from Porsche
BOXer engine in a roadSTER type car.
subies have BOXER engines and have for quite some time. all my cars have BOXER engines but not all are Porsche's
also BMW motorcycles use a BOXER engine format in some of their models.
horizontally opposed cylinders that look like two fighters punching each others gloves thus the visual description of the engines movement.
so the BOXER term is correct.
