And, in classic form, I posted before searching...
I found a single VERY old thread discussing this, where it seems (but was not definitely stated) that the stock exhaust needs the stock oil lines, and the backdated lines will not work.
Unless someone has managed to make the backdated lines work with the stock system, and would like to chime in, I'll consider this thread closed.
