OK, we did a visit, stay and scout the area of Payson AZ, but........ I'm slow, but Payson was wow, REALLY slow there. Beautiful area, a couple of very nice golf courses and the people were very, very friendly but man it was Zzzzzz's ville.
Give me the dirt, dust, wind about Prescott if you can. Best places to buy and anything else you can think of. I like a bit of elbow room, I don't think I could ever live in a development....but ya never know. I'm on 10 acres right now, maybe 1 acre would do for retirement.
View, lake, river, creek would be a huge plus.
