Home-grown artichokes. The two bushes each have ten buds on them. We enjoyed the first one a few nights back. Compared to the store-bought 'chokes, the home-grown flesh is both thicker and tastier.
I have to wait until July before our early-bearing tomatoes come ripe. Then, that is my favorite. From July until mid October we are swimming in tomatoes!
