I've been racing and riding motorcycles on/off road since the age of 8 (I'm now 44). But the longest trip I've ever taken on the road is about three hours and that was about twenty years ago. So for father's day I might take a trip up to Michigan to visit my father on my R1100S (BCR). I'm going to take just a back pack. So, other than a change of underwear, what else should I pack for about a six-hour trip? I already thought of ear plugs and of course I always wear a helmet, gloves, and my leather jacket (unless I get a textile before then). My bike's tool kit is also intact.
