I'm looking around for a rebuilt alternator for my car ....got a quote from local Porsche shop: $270 for factory rebuilt with 1 yr warranty...(when I exchange old one)

I'm in the Boston area so I would like to find a place nearby and not have to ship alternators cross country in case of a problem.
Anyone recommend such a place? I called the dealership and a few auto parts stores but nothing.
