Honestly? Not entirely. I didn't see the "confused" figure at all. I'll go back and look.
My response was to a decidedly unsympathetic response to the fact that the man has a perhaps fatal condition and it shocked me that you as a physician (and someone I knew to be a very empathetic guy) weren't more positive.
As for the tie in to the Pope...I don't get that either. You've got a problem with THIS Pope, all popes in general, or the history of the Catholic Church? I've got a problem with the history of the Catholic Church too and I'm Catholic. I've most definitiely got a problem with what I've read about certain popes. Actually, I've got a LOT of problems with many, many things that have been done in the name of religion, ALL religions, though I have very religious feelings myself. Its just I think religion and spiritual beliefs are highly personal and probably do not belong discussed even in one's own family much less on an internet forum. We're cool Markus.
