I agree, local regions PCA regions can be great.
And Pano sucks. BMW Roundel is an awesome magazine, with great content, and a lot of really good, interesting writers.
Pano, once you've read a few, you've read them all. 50% of each issue is pretty much just a repeat of the one before. And the writers are competent, but boring. And they are way too much in the pocket of Porsche.
