Kurt, euro lenses come in both black and chrome trim. Officially, the black trim was introduced with the '73 models. But..the euro lenses on my car have black trim..because I then wanted it that way. Even now, it's fairly simple to buy either US or Euro, chrome or black trim, all depending on the look you want. About $100 per corner...
