Not true. Not at all true. That is the point. Like I said, CAREFUL couples have an 85% transmission rate within 6 months. Remember, the majority of infected people do not know they are infected! These asymptomatic "carriers" will shed virus and infect new partners.
Although the viral load is less, asymptomatic HSV infected persons still shed the virus and still infect others.
