Help with Components & spec
Looking for some guidance please;
I have;
2.4 '72 block
set of new 2.5 Mahle pistons & barrells
tall 906 weber mag inlet manifolds
901 (911) gear box with factory LSD and ratios AMFSX
Car is LWB and will weigh in at around 1980lbs when done.
6'' fuchs on front 7R on rear.
Car is to be used for w/end blasts and trackdays only.
(i think) I want as close to a 906 (901/20) spec engine as it is as possible to do -
but have read up on several threads here...about it being unstreetable...
Should I..
Plough on and get some Weber 46's - 906 cams etc.
What is this going to cost realistically?
or,
sell the 906 manifolds, get some Weber 40IDS, some S cams...
What would you do...to get the most enjoyment out of the drive?
I should add that I am not overley technical and I won't be doing the work myself so if you could reply so as I can pass the info on that would be great...
