The Red Wings actually carried the play again tonight for most of the game...however...there were some KEY turning points which the Pens took advantage of to their credit... the first was the multiple-penalties-in-a-row that the Red Wings mysteriously got nailed with at the end of the first period, after they had been completely dominating the Pens and outshooting them something like 14-1.... the Pens got back into it and used that momentum to score their goals... in the 2nd, the Wings crept up a bit, but credit the Pens for getting that 3rd goal in the final period...most of the 3rd period was owned by the Wings.
The Pens will need an effort like that every single game to get back into this series in a serious nature. I felt that Fluery was the difference tonight, he made some huge saves at critical times to save momentum.
As for Kid Rock... a cultural phenomen in the late 90s, came around at the right time, had the attitude...Cowboy actually is a pretty catchy and rocking song but most of that record stinks... marketing, money, good management (he used Bob Seger's manager Punch Andrews) and went for it with no fear.
I dont think he is without talent, he can sing somewhat, and actually plays the piano fairly well, guitar too...there are more talentless people out there who have sold more records (such as Master P, P Diddy and Fitty Cent)
